How we do it
Approach

Technology chops
We most often design and build solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies. But, does that mean we're only a .NET development shop? No, sir! Our team also has years of experience building cool stuff with Java, Flex and PHP.
Subvert chooses to focus on the Microsoft stack because of its power, flexibility and efficiency. We haven't worked with any other tools or frameworks that can as quickly and elegantly produce the highly-engaging experiences for which we are known.
Our partners
Props to Vilfredo Pareto
Wait, who's this Vilfredo? Well, you see, more than a century ago, Mr. Pareto came up with his universally applicable principle that states 20% of the effort will deliver 80% of the results.
Now, fast forward a hundred years to when some smart people applied Pareto's ideas to software development. They called it the 2080 software development methodology; a post-agile approach. At Subvert, we choose 2080 over other agile methodologies because:
- The completion date is defined at the onset, so rather than iterating endlessly, we finish projects on time and at a lower cost
- Milestones are defined up-front using five iterations, which keeps clients informed and in the loop
- Working prototypes are delivered early in the project, which translates to higher overall product quality and communication
- We can launch quickly. Many of our engagements take less than a month, some even just a few weeks, start to finish
Here's the deal
If you can see and experience it on a computer - desktop, mobile or whatever the trendy space of the moment is - we can do it.
What really sets us apart is that not only are we able to build functionally beautiful systems, but our visual and interaction design skills allow us to create websites and software that look awesome, plus are fun and easy to use.
We like lists, so if you like them too, here's our services:
- Web applications built on ASP.NET, MVC2, or Silverlight
- Desktop applications built on WPF or Silverlight out-of-browser
- GIS and integrated mapping applications built on Silverlight
- Data warehousing, data mining and business intelligence
- Websites and digital marketing programs
